Professional ATTENDEES from park districts, villages, libraries, and other municipalities are invited to the Entertainment Showcase to watch the vendor performances in order to make informed decisions about booking vendors for their community events.
Vendors are prohibited from registering as attendees. Those who sign up as attendee and market their act at Showcase will not be allowed to participate in
future SPRA events.
Vendor Registration is Closed
As a vendor, you may request to perform or request to be in the directory only. There will not be an exhibit hall option this year to allow for more performances. Vendors will perform on stage either in the
auditorium or the gym.
Vendor Selection Process: A panel of recreation professionals selects vendor acts to perform based on specific criteria that are appropriate and suitable for park and recreation agencies. Based on 4 criteria, the panel meticulously considers each vendor applicant through a voting process. The Showcase Committee receives 150+ vendor applications with requests to perform, but can only select up to 30 vendor acts to showcase. If your act is selected, you will be contacted by September 1st. Vendors who are selected to perform will also be posted to the SPRA website by September 1st. Please do not
e-mail to inquire about your act’s acceptance into the Entertainment Showcase before September.
We will continue to monitor and follow the guidelines associated with COVID 19 on the federal, state and county level along with the guidelines set forth by the Des Plaines Park District. SPRA Showcase capacity, performances, attendance, etc. is subject to change
based on regulatory guidelines.
